I have used both of these options on my daughter’s iphone 6 where i have set it to “don’t allow” for in app purchases and to also “always require” for the password that she doesn’t know. Somehow both of these get switched back to “allow” and the “don’t require” gets taken off too. Again, she doesn’t know my password so then I end up getting in app charges in my bank account? Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Hi there! Maybe an update has reset the settings to default. Or worse, your daughter knows your password (and you are just not aware) and keeps switching it back to “allow”. I suggest you change your password from time to time so she’ll have no chances of messing up with the settings again. Hope this helps!
