Design
When we said you can bring the ‘3D cinema’ experience everywhere, we mean it. The Royole Moon mobile theater folds flat for transport.
Right away, you will notice that it is designed to deliver a superior level of craftsmanship. It has a lightweight, breathable material on the faceplate and ear cups. It features bold colors and the smooth plastic is the perfect finishing.

By the looks of it, the Moon is a super beast. However, there is a minor problem that most reviewers have encountered.
Although very comfortable, the material on the faceplate quickly leads up to steam on the lenses especially when the room is not cold enough. More ventilation is needed or else your viewing experience can easily be ruined.
Out Of The Box

With its price tag, what do you get?
Aside from the iPhone headset itself, you also get an external flat box (which is very thin), that gives you inputs for other devices. Also, you get a rechargeable battery pack.
Users can also run their Moon off AC power with the included adaptor which is also the battery charger. Then, a single cable connects the outboard box to the headsets.
Playback and Accessibility
The Moon has its own operating system that sits on top of the Android OS. As soon as you turn on the Moon, you will see a screen with setup options which also includes connecting to your Wi-Fi network.
But that’s not only it…
The right ear cup of the headphones features a touchpad where you can type letters and numbers into the respective data fields such as user name and password to your network.

Moon already comes with preloaded with some movie trailers, still photos, and some 3D video clips too. You can store up to 32GB of your own material for display on the headset.
If you find it not exactly fitting you at first, you do not need to worry. You can actually expand or contract the device to fit you perfectly.
Furthermore, you will also find adjustments for the width of the optics so you can match how far your eyes are set apart. Now, wouldn’t that be a lovely viewing experience?
Aside from the adjustments on the optics, you can also do that with focus.
Sound and Video Quality
According to Royole, Moon offers a view that is equivalent to an 800-inch wrap around display right before your eyes. However, folks from Pocket-lint said that it was just like putting your smartphone really close in front of your face.
Finish it up with wearing a pair of noise-canceling earphones, then throw in a towel over your head to block the sunlight out.

The pair of noise-canceling headphones is also a force a reckoned with. It delivers a high-quality sound that just completes the home theater experience.
So, if you are the type that likes to be left out to enjoy a good movie then the Moon is the device for you.
There is no denying that the device has good video and sound quality. But imagine putting that on for a good three hours, not sure if it would still be as comfortable as when you first wore it.
Should you get one? The verdict!
Finally, there is a device that would make you feel like you are part of the amazing movie you are watching. Throw in in the equation a good-sounding pair of noise-canceling headphones that let you zone off the faraway land.
If it is still not clear to you, this pair of iPhone headset is very compact and easy to bring anywhere with you.
So, if you feel like you are bored or stuck in traffic, just pop your favorite shows on and let the time pass by while being entertained with a “3D cinema” experience.
But mind you, the Moon does not come cheap. So, if you are planning to get one make sure that you are well aware of its features as well as its slight inconveniences.
Overall, the Royole Moon is worth every penny!
